Who operates GainProof

GainProof is operated by Expertly Simple Limited. Further contact details are available on request via privacy@gainproof.com.

What information GainProof receives

Depending on how you use the service, GainProof may receive:

  • Business account information — such as account identity and profile details used to sign in and run a business workspace (authentication is provided by Clerk).
  • Testimonial-request information — such as recipient name and email, and context about the product or service the request relates to, when a business creates and sends a request.
  • Testimonial answers and content — responses entered on the capture page, including optional name-display choices, draft answers saved before submit, and the submitted testimonial text.
  • Branding uploads — business logo or profile photo when a business chooses to upload them.
  • Technical and service data — information needed to run the hosted application (for example request routing and application logs on the hosting platform).

Why information is processed

GainProof uses this information to:

  • provide business accounts and the dashboard;
  • create and send testimonial requests;
  • let a named business collect, review, approve, and optionally publish testimonials;
  • show public proof and trust pages when a business publishes a testimonial;
  • operate and secure the service.

Review and publication

When someone submits a testimonial for a business, that content is shared with the requesting business for review. Publication is not automatic. A business may approve content and then choose to publish it. Published testimonials can appear on public GainProof pages such as proof and trust URLs.

A business can later unpublish a published testimonial, which removes it from those public pages while keeping the underlying record available to that business unless deletion is requested.

Service providers used by the application

GainProof currently relies on these providers to run the product as implemented:

  • Clerk — authentication and account sessions;
  • Supabase — database and file storage;
  • Resend — transactional email for testimonial requests;
  • Vercel — application hosting;
  • OpenAI — optional wording assistance during testimonial capture (for example suggested phrasing while answering questions).

Retention and deletion

We keep information while the relevant business account uses GainProof and as needed to operate the service. You can request deletion by contacting privacy@gainproof.com. Deletion requests are handled by the GainProof operator using the service’s founder-operated deletion procedure.
